a note from d-cantor
You'd have to plan a trip to France in order to reach the old world home of Malbec. It is one of the principal blending grapes of Bordeaux, and plantings can be found in other regions, too, particularly in Cahors. Since the 1990s, however, Argentina has mastered the production of this grape, often blending it with grapes higher in acidity and tannin, such as Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2010 Clos de Crianza Malbec Blend is a juicy expression of this old world/new world grape. Learn more by clicking on the link at right. Cheers & L'Chayim.
