2024 Troupis Winery Moschofilero "Thunder" Rosé
Troupis Winery is situated in the center of the Mantinea Plateau in Greece’s Fteri region, the heart of the namesake wine-growing zone. The family has been involved in viticulture since the 1970s, when they used to make their own wine for the year and sell the remaining grapes. The winery’s history began in 2010, when the family decided to invest in their privately owned vineyards of a total area of 7 hectares. Since then the winery has developed in terms of its facilities, equipment and personnel, resulting in the production of fine quality wines and the provision of quality services to its clients.
“Thunder” is made from the pink-skinned moschofilero grape and fermented in stainless steel. The result is a light-hearted, liter-full of fun! Exuberantly aromatic, its delectable notes of honeysuckle, strawberry Starburst, peach, lychee, bubblegum, and spice practically leap from the glass onto your palate. This medium-bodied rosé offers generous fruit, finishing dry and refreshing.
