Stunning Dry Greek Rosé

Winemaker Christos Zafeirakis is a 4th generation winemaker, having studied enology at enological schools in both Greece and Italy. Christos is considered one of the young, pioneering Greek winemakers, and is widely credited with reviving the indigenous variety of Limniona, creating world class, elegant fine wines. The winery’s vineyards are located in Tyrnavos, at the foot of Mount Olympus, the seat of the mythical Greek gods.

The winery is very concerned about the environment. Sustainability principles have been employed in the long path to reaching that goal. Vineyard management is carefully designed, aiming for minimal intervention and the preservation of biodiversity in the environment. The cultivation has followed organic practices since 2005, and is certified by Biohellas, with the latest parcels converted in 2022.

The 2021 Limniona rosé offers a refreshing touch in a rosé wine. The wine displays a soft salmon color. Expressive aromas of red fruit, cranberry and wild-strawberry, flower, caramel and Mediterranean herbs. Lively acidity, ideally mixed with the intensity of fruit in an unexpected wrap of freshness, with a small appetizing bitterness that gives an extra dimension.

A good choice for grilled fish, pasta with vegetables, cheese pizza or a stand-alone sipper.​
